Literacy Impacts Us All

When adults learn to read, write, or do basic math, their transformations are nothing short of remarkable. They can find and keep jobs, enjoy better health and educate their children. Their new skills enable them to dream big, do more and move forward. And that means society can move forward, too.

We Need Your Help

Our programs depend on donations that enable us to touch the lives of countless neighbors across Beaufort County. Your gifts help us deliver the critical programs that empower adults and enrich our community.

Our Events

Plan now to chase away your mid-winter blues by attending The Literacy Center’s highly anticipated Cooks & Books Preview Party and Cooks & Books Festival fundraisers.
